Refresh Public Docs When the System Moves
A stale README can cause more operational damage than a missing paragraph. It may send users to an obsolete command, imply a provider is wired when it is not, or promise local-only behavior while external routes remain available.
Review public documentation as part of every meaningful system transition. Compare the claims against current code, tests, runtime configuration, and the supported deployment path.
The goal is not perfect documentation. It is a truthful boundary around what someone can safely expect when they follow the instructions today.
